Chicago's Eclipse Theatre Company, the Midwest's only theatre company to focus on a single playwright each season, will feature the works of Pulitzer Prize-winning American playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis for their 2016 Season.

Today and tomorrow, June 26th and 27th at 8 PM and Sunday June 28th at 3 PM, Theatre Artists Workshop will present its first annual Fringe Festival. Covering the full spectrum of works for the stage, the Fringe features off-beat, off-kilter, and avant-garde works of movement, song, drama, and comedy.

Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, the hit comedy written by Matt Murphy, based on the best-selling book by Dan Anderson and Maggie Berman, is celebrating one year of performances this week at The 777 Theatre (777 Eighth Avenue, between 47th and 48th Streets) and has announced the launch of a national tour in April 2015, followed by Las Vegas in Summer 2015 and international productions in Brazil, Australia and Toronto in Summer/Fall 2015.

The Farm Theater announces Training Camp 2014, a program that focuses on the development of pre-professional and early career theater artists. Training Camp will be held at Elmira College on August 4 through August 10. The Farm is seeking a diverse ensemble of sixteen theater artists to participate in this weeklong intensive, which will include classes in acting, writing, ensemble collaboration, and directing.

This March will mark their 15th year anniversary in New York City, and, beginning on March 17, Galleria on Third will host a benefit art show celebrating this milestone by featuring art work by friends of the gallery including world renowned artist Romero Britto, TV personality Carson Kressley, ABC'S Sandy Kenyon, celebrated abstract artist James C. Leonard, photographer DeGroom, painter/illustrator Rafal Olbinski and owner-turned-artist, Shadin Hossain. A portion of the proceeds collected over the month will be donated to Smile Train (www.smiletrain.org). Richmond Ballet is pleased to announce the line-up for the 30th Anniversary Celebration performance, debuting at the Carpenter Theatre at Richmond CenterStage, November 1-3, 2013. This special performance, celebrating the Ballet's 30 years as a professional company will feature George Balanchine's Serenade, the company premiere of Jerome Robbins's Fancy Free and Salvatore Aiello's The Rite of Spring. Serenade, George Balanchine's famous blue, neo-classical work – his first ballet to be choreographed in America – marked a turning point in the history of American ballet. Fancy Free, the inspiration for the film On The Town, signaled that Robbins was to be one of the most influential American choreographers of the 20th century. The Rite of Spring, the groundbreaking ballet set to the music by Igor Stravinsky, is now celebrating its centennial year, and returns to the Richmond Ballet repertory after a highly successful run at the Virginia Arts Festival in May of 2013.

Maria Callas, the great American-Greek opera soprano, will come to life on stage Sept. 26-29 when the CU-Boulder Department of Theatre & Dance and College of Music present Terrence McNally's Tony Award-winning 1995 play, 'Master Class.'
